Caroline Cranton was born at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD and grew up in San Diego, CA. Attorney Cranton attended the University of California, San Diego where she obtained an undergraduate degree in Art History.
Attorney Cranton attended Wake Forest University School of Law, where she won the Zeliff Trial Bar Award. At the time, she was the first 2L to win the Competition. After moving to Florida, she began her career as an Assistant State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit. As an ASA, Attorney Cranton tried cases before a jury in both Orange and Osceola Counties.
Following her service to the People of the State of Florida, Attorney Cranton began practicing Civil Litigation. Attorney Cranton’s practice included the defense of business entities, professionals, and insureds in a wide range of litigation practices, including Medical Malpractice, Nursing Home Abuse, Premises Liability, Personal Injury, and Automotive Injury. She has resolved countless cases across the State over the course of her career and is an experienced Trial Lawyer, having tried cases to verdict in Orange, Pinellas, and Volusia Counties.
After 25 years as a defense lawyer, Attorney Cranton decided it was time to take her practice in a new direction. She became a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator in both Circuit and County Court, and joined the Martindale Law Group. As a Trial Lawyer, she now applies the techniques she perfected on the defense side for the benefit of people who have been injured in an accident through no fault of their own. As a Mediator, Attorney Cranton brings the experience of both sides to each case. Furthermore; as an active trial lawyer, she brings current knowledge and experience to assist the parties in reaching the best outcome.
