Leslie M. Coulter is an associate attorney at the Martindale Law Group. She is originally from Chicago, Illinois, but has been fortunate enough to call many places home throughout the years.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in journalism from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2007. After working in on-air and print media, Leslie then earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2016, where she graduated cum laude.
While in law school, Leslie Coulter interned for the Honorable Chris McAliley in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the Miami Advocacy Office of Florida Legal Services. She was a member of the Race and Social Justice Law Review and had leadership roles in several hands-on legal clinics. She was also a law clerk for a defense firm that represented community associations and government entities in property disputes.
Attorney Leslie Coulter then began her legal career as an Assistant Public Defender for the Ninth Judicial Circuit. There she had more than a dozen misdemeanor and felony jury trials.
Over the next few years, Leslie worked for several insurance defense firms in Central Florida. There she litigated first-party claims and bodily injury cases for the insurance companies. Leslie is proud to be working for the people again and is committed to advocating for the relief that homeowners and injured parties are entitled to.
